Hummingbird House thrives on the generous spirit of our community, and we are currently seeking donations of new or gently used materials to fuel the next wave of creativity! Your contributions will directly support local artists and learners by providing them with the essential tools they need to experiment and bring their visions to life.

We are especially looking for items for our growing textile and sewing program. Help us stitch together amazing projects by donating:

  • Fabrics (cotton, linen, wool, felt, canvas, leather scraps, etc.)

  • Threads (all colors and types)

  • Needles, pins, scissors, rotary cutters

  • Sewing machines (in working order)

  • Notions (buttons, zippers, elastic, trim, ribbon)

📸 Capture the Moment!

Do you have old film equipment gathering dust? We would love to put it to use in our photography workshops! We are looking for:

  • 35mm Film Cameras (e.g., Canon AE-1, Minolta SRT, Nikon FM, Pentax K1000, or similar manual SLR bodies)

  • Compatible lenses and related accessories

  • Expired or unexpired film

All kinds of general materials are welcome! These items are the foundation for countless projects, including:

  • Paints, brushes, and drawing supplies

  • Paper, cardstock, and specialty papers

  • Adhesives, glue guns, and tape

  • Yarn, beads, jewelry-making supplies

  • Wood, metal, or other raw materials
